Sway vases are wheelthrown in multiple parts that are altered and combined to create an entirely unique vase each time - no two will ever appear the same. These pieces are decorated with a heavily textured black slip and very thin white slip drips. The forms are inspired by the vast landscape of wheat fields swaying in the Icelandic wind while the textures are inspired by the snowy moss coating on volcanic fields. They have been sanded to a finish that begs to be touched.
Handwashing is recommended.
