Touchable ceramics handcrafted from foraged materials.

I’m Kim Allison, a ceramic artist allergic to “do not touch” signs in art and drawn to clay because it bridges sight and tactility—inviting interaction rather than distance. I create functional and decorative vessels infused with natural materials such as foraged clay, stones, ash, soil, and aggregates.

My work explores the connection between artist and material, the thrill of experimentation, and the beauty of unpredictable results that feel as though they’ve been unearthed rather than made. Each piece is an invitation to experience the quiet, tactile language of the earth.
