This large pedestal jar is built from individual coils of dark brown clay and decorated with thin layers of light brown and soft slip. Inspired by a summer 2024 workshop I took with Candice Methe, this piece’s knob is also a mini jar with its own little lid. The piece has been sanded to a finish that begs to be touched.
