Golden sands cups are thrown from a dark clay body and decorated with layers of dark and light slips. Inspired by Iceland’s Skarðsvík Golden Beach with its sparkling sands and brown, weathered basalt columns. These cups were originally fired in a soda-infused rocket kiln, then refired in an oxidation kiln. They have been sanded to a finish that begs to be touched.
Food, microwave, and dishwasher safe, but handwashing is recommended.
