Knob-handled mugs are wheelthrown from a smooth black clay and accented with a knob handle that fits between your fingers so that you can hug the mug. Unglazed exteriors, glazed interiors. These were some of the few pieces made before my Icelandic inspirations struck, but they reflect my early 2023 budding obsession with texture and materiality. Sanded to a finish that begs to be touched.
