Black sands pedestal bowl

The Black Sands pedestal bowl is built from individual coils of clay and decorated with a heavily textured black slip. Specks of white can be seen throughout the rocky, crackled texture, which is inspired by Iceland’s black sand beaches. It has been sanded to a finish that begs to be touched.
Please note that while this bowl is perfectly safe for fruits, vegetables, dinner rolls, etc., it is not glazed and therefore should not be used to serve liquids such as sauces, dressings, mashed potatoes, etc. Handwashing is recommended.
